Harvard Offers Administrative Fellowship Program
Harvard University seeks to attract candidates, especially those from underrepresented ethnic minority groups, and those committed to addressing the underrepresentation of ethnic minorities in university administration to administrative careers in higher education. Applicants must have at least five years of work experience. The 2010-2011 Administrative Fellowship Program seeks applicants with B.A. degree and backgrounds in general administration (program administration, project management, or event planning) , faculty and student services (admissions, financial aid, or career services) athletics/sports management, information technology, alumni affairs and development (conference planning and/or fund raising), research (humanities/behavioral sciences), finance (financial operations and analysis), human resources (employment, recruitment, or generalist), or library science and management.

 

-Fellows receive stipends and are placed in full-time work assignments in Harvard schools or central administration departments for the duration of the Program.

-Seminars, lectures and case studies have been designed for the Fellows to enhance management and administrative skills, self-assessment and career development.

-Evaluation of the applications will be based on professional achievement, interviews at Harvard, and suitability for the Program.

- Inclusive dates for the 2010-2011 Program are September 2010 through August 2011.

- Application deadline: February 26, 2010.
