NERCHE Briefs

In 2001 NERCHE began disseminating the insights and policy recommendations of practitioners working “on the ground” in colleges and universities regionally and nationwide through its series of
briefs. NERCHE Briefs are distilled from the collaborative work and expertise of members of NERCHE's ongoing think tanks for administrators and faculty in the New England region, as well as from NERCHE’s practitioner-based research and projects. Originally funded by the Ford Foundation, the Briefs are designed to add critical information and essential voices to the policy decisions that leaders in higher education make. NERCHE disseminates these pieces to an audience of legislators; college and university presidents and system heads; heads of higher education associations and State Higher Education Officers; higher education practitioners; and media contacts.
