The Chief Academic Affairs Officers Think Tank, comprised of members from four-year public and private institutions, discusses a myriad of higher education issues, yet always focuses squarely on the policy implications of the members’ work. In past years, the group has spent much of its time on the issue of faculty roles and rewards. In addition, the group has addressed fundamental questions about the future of the the U.S. system of higher education, the issue of accreditation, and accountability.
